Brain Café Relaunch!

01/02/2017 from 3-7 pm

To help celebrate the new year, students that come in to the Brain Café on Monday January 2nd receive a free hour of services as well as the chance to earn 50% off the rest of the month. We are within walking distance of both Severna Park High School and Severna Park Middle School.

The Brain Café is a homework help lab for students of all ages that runs Mondays through Thursdays after school. The Café offers small group assistance that allows students to work independently while keeping them on task. Parents are welcome to stay in the center while their children work, but many take advantage of this service as an opportunity to run errands or enjoy free time.

The Brain Café also offers several programs that include structured enrichment activities for the student who may be falling behind or need extra help in a variety of subjects. Every caffeinated program is designed to meet the student’s individual needs. These programs can target math, English, reading, foreign language, and typing skills.

Schedule Dr. Perez

Dr. Perez's engagements are customized for:
  • Referring Professionals: Find out how to grow your practice by recognizing difficulties and providing suggestions to initiate services for your patients or clients. Specific strategies will be taught and material handed out that you can use immediately within your practice.
  • Executives: Learn systems to help identify how you process information and the best strategies to articulate an effective response. Improve sales through better organization, time management and effective communications skills.
  • Educators: Learning differences impact the entire school. Teachers will learn how to help students manage their time and work and more easily process the information being taught. These strategies really work to organize the student's mind and behavior.
  • Parents: End frustration at homework time by helping your child develop the necessary strategies to become a lifelong learner.
  • Students: Whether elementary, middle, high school or college level, learning how to process, understand, organize and prioritize information will enable any student to meet educational challenges with success.
